Boscastle Community Minibus

Minibus available for community transport, private hire and excursions.

The 17-seater minibus is available to members of the body whom the driver is aged of 25 to 69 with a B1/D1 car licence of at least two years. The minibus is not for profit – the Company will set fares at a level intended to meet the running costs but not to generate a profit.

  • Falmouth, including Falmouth Spring Festival
    Monday 23rd March 2020 9am – 5.30pm
    Much to see and do including visiting the shops, Maritime museum or art gallery. The Falmouth Spring festival is a wonderful celebration of coast, community and culture including a flower show and guided walks. Bus £5
  • Cornwall Garden Society Spring Show – Wadebridge
    Saturday 4th April 2020 10am – 4pm
    From exquisite cut flowers and rare and unusual shrubs to vintage tools and garden sheds, An Artisan Area hosts an eclectic array of artwork, ceramics, jewellery and illustration, whilst the cornucopia of Cornish food and drink will keep everyone fuelled in the Picnic Area. Bus £3
  • Porthleven Food Festival
    Friday 17th April 2020 9am – 5.30pm
    Porthleven Food Festival, now in its twelfth year, is a well-established event on the Cornish festival calendar. The Festival brings people together in and around the stunning harbour of Porthleven with a national and international chef’s theatre, food stalls, street food, music and entertainment for all.   • Caerhays Castle and GardensTuesday 5th May 2020 10am – 4pm Bus £4

    Caerhays Castle is an English Heritage Grade 1 Listed Building, nestled in a secluded valley above Porthluney Cove and currently home to the Williams family.   • Hartland Abbey

    Built in the 12th Century Hartland Abbey is the cherished home of the Stucley family with treasures and memorabilia collected over many generations. The beautiful 18thC Walled and Woodland gardens, the walks and the parkland provide visitors with extensive grounds through which to wander and enjoy the stunning valley leading down to the rugged Atlantic cove and cottage at Blackpool Mill. https://www.hartlandabbey.com
  • Town visit: Tavistock

    Tavistock is a thriving, beautifully friendly market town that is worthy of any visitor. An ancient stannary town, Tavistock is the only town in Devon to hold world heritage status. The vibrancy and uniqueness of Tavistock is undeniable with a range of beautiful local independent shops which are a far cry from today’s typical high street.   • The Lost Gardens of Heligan
    Wednesday 24th June 2020 10am – 4.30pm Bus £4

    Thirty years ago, Heligan’s historic gardens were unknown and unseen; lost to the brambles of time since the outbreak of WW1. It was only the chance discovery of a door in the ruins that led to the restoration of this once great estate.

  • Restormel Castle & Duchy Garden Centre

    Standing in ruins amid beautiful countryside, Restormel is one of the most remarkable castles in Britain. The present circular structure, built in the late 13th century, was a luxurious retreat for its medieval owners and was twice visited by Edward, the Black Prince. The castle commands fantastic views across the valley of the river Fowey and is a favourite picnic spot – with beautiful spring flowers, and plants all year round.
    Follow the new 45 minute walking trail from the castle to the Duchy Garden Centre where you can browse, shop and grab some lunch. Don’t fancy walking? The driver will drive you to the garden centre instead!

  • RHS Rosemoor Flower Show

    Show entry approx. £10 TBC
    The RHS Garden Rosemoor Flower Show is packed with gorgeous floral displays, nursery and trade stands, expert advice, delicious food, live music and much more – all set against the beautiful backdrop of the 65 acre (26ha) garden.

  • Clovelly including Lobster & Crab Feast
    Sunday 6th September 2020 10am – 4.30/5pm Bus £3.50
    Entry £7.75
    Clovelly celebrates its famous, sustainably caught, lobsters and crabs. Live folk music, quay kitchens, cookery demonstrations, a magnum of champagne prize draw, delicious lobster and crab dishes, craft stalls and beer tasting. Plus street theatre, walkabout magic, balloon modelling and craft activities. In aid of the National Lobster Hatchery, who will be exhibiting baby lobsters before releasing them into the sea at the beginning and end of the day. https://www.clovelly.co.uk/
