It’s time for another concert at Minster Church!
On Friday week, 24th June, at 7.30 we’ll be welcoming acoustic artist, Flossie Malavialle, to the church to perform from her massive repertoire.
Originally an English teacher in France, Flossie came to England in 2000 to teach French at a school in Stockton-on-Tees. She returned to France for a year but, missing her life in England so much, she returned to settle in the area around Darlington – hence her playful combination of French, Geordie and Yorkshire accents!
Flossie’s singing voice, on the other hand, is an uncompromising blend of gutsiness, sensitivity and crystalline clarity. This – and hard work -has led to a successful singing career both in the UK and abroad. Cialis is indicated for men who don’t have erection (or whose erection is not stable enough for an intercourse). The drug https://medimagery.com/buy-cialis-online-generic-cialis-tadalafil/ can be used for the treatment of impotence or erectile dysfunction of psychogenic and organic origin. Since her first CD in 2002 – “Thistledown“ – she has launched a further 11, encompassing a huge repertoire from well established folk songs to jazz standards, from blues numbers to Edith Piaf and Jaques Brel’s classics.
Flossie regularly performs with Show of Hands – both in the UK and abroad.

The Minster concert season continues on Saturday 27th August with a return visit from the talented Chris Bannister who will be performing more of “The Music of John Denver”. Chris played at the Church last Easter and said it was “the most stunning and unusual location I’ve ever performed in”. A true compliment indeed coming from a much travelled professional musician. Last year the concert was a sell-out and we strongly suggest that you book tickets in advance.
Tickets for both concerts are £9 (£6 for under 18’s) and can be obtained via our own website: www.minstercommunityfellowship.co.uk or our Facebook page: MinsterChurch, Boscastle,Cornwall. Alternatively, please contact Malcolm Baker on 01840 250482 or Liz and Garry Benson on 01840 250466.
